And the motor that got it there was a twin-turbo Mercedes V8. Normally, I'm a naturally aspirated kind of guy. I don't like the whine that turbos make, not quite in sync with the rhythm of the engine.

Well prior to this year the 535i had a twin turbo engine, it was just an inline 6, not a V8. They replaced that setup with a single-turbo inline six for the new model year. The TT V8 in the 550i would make it quite the screamer I'd imagine. Can't wait to see what they do to that motor for the M5.
